We booked this room last minute because we were visiting family nearby and it was surprisingly pleasant. I didn't give 5 stars for the room because I found a juice box straw on the floor (we didn't have any kids with us) and a piece of gel (?) nail polish in the grout in the bathroom. The room itself was fairly clean and it did have a mini fridge although it didn't seem to be cold (we were only there for the night and didn't need it otherwise I probably would've called the front desk). They did have an ice machine, vending machine and microwave in the Cantina on our floor. We were able to go down to the casino for a bit to see what they had and they had quite a few games that I've never seen before however I don't frequent casinos often so I'm not sure if they were new games or not lol. We really went down to check out the restaurants. They had several places to eat but I fell in love with the hot dogs at Three Sisters (and I'm not a hot dog eater lol) which also served Starbucks drinks. The breakfast at their restaurant where they offer buffets was surprisingly good as well. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone when we ate but we had chile rellenos, a Denver omelet, pancakes and a waffle. I subbed my toast option with a biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was soft and delicious but the gravy wasn't phenomenal, maybe if I added more salt and pepper? But I'm usually not one to add seasoning to my plate because I like to taste the food itself. The omelet was decent, I loved the chile rellenos and the pancake and waffle were pretty good. I did have my phone to snap a pic of some of the beautiful artwork.

Let's start with the great: Rick the valet, Storytellers, Bowling, and Patrick the maintenance manager (will get to that). Rick was awesome: personable, helped us schlep our bags, helping us on both ends of the stay. Storytellers was a wonderful dinner with mom. Sandra and the host were both delightful and helpful. The food and wine were fantastic. Lighting could definitely be redone by a lighting designer! (Pendants should be higher and dimmed - person sitting in the mid-booth gets blasted with light) Bowling alley was clean, readonably priced and fun. Love their software with the random trivia on screen. Patrick in maintenance went above and beyond to try and resolve a nightmare with our ADA king suite with tub. The tub didn't work... it was stuck between one of two shower settings. His associate got into the wall to troubleshoot and realized it was a design fail by whoever renovated. He ran around looking for an alternative as we need a tub due to wife's back pain. He finally found one that worked, but it was a double queen. We settled for that, and the front desk did help a bit at checkout for our trouble. Overall, the bath tub issue was a lot of stress right before a birthday dinner (had to delay the reservation) but others will hopefully have a better experience than we did.

We had a fantastic 4 day stay last week. The staff very friendly and helpful with our needs. The rooms very clean and the beds the most comfortable we have had at any hotel. The casino was so much fun. Loved the games machine and table alike. We are already planning our next trip.

My stay at cliff Castle was very comfortable, I was really thankful that they worked me into an upgrade room from my original reservation at the lodge. I wanted to give a special shout out to Danny, Glenn and Rick at the valet! As I had to make many trips back-and-forth, they were all so kind and cordial to me, bringing me the vehicle and even when my windshield wipers weren’t working, one of them was so kind to help squeegee the rain off the windshield so I could see These guys were super friendly And so professional. I look forward to a future stay at Cliff Castle

This was my first time staying in a casino hotel, so it was very interesting! Aside from obviously having a casino and hotel inhabiting the same building, there are also multiple restaurants, an arcade, and a bowling alley inside! Not to mention the usual hotel amenities like a pool and gym and meeting room and whatnot- all present. One could genuinely just spend all their time inside this place without leaving if they felt so inclined, but I do very much recommend getting out and exploring lol. The only odd thing we encountered was that room service was completely ignoring our room the entire time we were there. We could see them servicing the rooms around us, and we had no indication of /not/ wanting service, so we really don't know what that was about. We had to ask for service multiple times (never got it), and ended up having to get the front desk to do the job the room service employees were flat-out refusing to do (i.e give us toilet paper, towels, take the trash out.. ya know.. the bare minimum..). There were also thick red stains in the room on the bed and on the tv remote when we first entered the room.. so I'm not totally confident in the cleanliness of the rooms . That shower was pretty gross-looking, in particular. Anywho, it wasn't so bad that I felt uncomfortable being there. The bed was exactly what I needed it to be, and that was all that mattered to my deeply exhausted self lol.

We didn't use the hotel room so can't say how those were. But our kids loved the arcade, convient for parents. Casino was very clean and nice. Got $20 of free play just for signing up. Didn't win but they have a lot of options for newer games.

Spent our 10th anniversary here. Room was beautiful. Food we had was good from three sisters and the cafe. Did see that the arcade is very sad. Kids were in there but most machines were down. Most machines didn't work the first couple swipes. Just need more work. Overall great visit

We had a great night here this weekend. It was nice to have the kids do bowling and arcades while we gambled a bit. We have teens, so they were able to do their own thing, but not be too far from us. The club registration was the quickest I've ever experienced. We got like 20 bucks in free play, a cup, a shirt and walked away with enough winnings to cover our entire little trip. I can't wait to come back!
